Entry deadline approachesThe deadline for entries for Dalmally Show 2018 is Wednesday, August 15th
If you have never competed before, why not make this the year that you have a go?
If you plan to exhibit, whether livestock, produce or handicrafts, you will need to complete and return forms to the entry secretary by this date (or pay a late entry fine). Only a very small number of classes (including the children's competitions) accept entries on the day.
With a huge range of classes, from cattle, sheep and poultry, to handicrafts and horticulture, there is something to fit every talent – and entry costs only £2 or less.

New SecretaryMrs Marjorie Walker is the new President of Dalmally Show. Mrs Walker, who has been a supporter and show committee member for several years, take on the role from Jon Strickland. Mrs Walker says: “I would like to thank John for his dedication to the show and the wonderful job he has done. I am looking forward to being part of this year's exciting event.”
Judges selectedThe majority of judges and reserve judges for the 2018 Dalmally Show have now been confirmed.
The committee has made the ground-breaking decision that all the judges this year will be female. This recognises the important role that women play in farming in Argyll, and seeks to acknowledge a wealth of experience and expertise that can sometimes be overlooked.
